# How to Make:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine strawberry or cherry gelatin with 1 cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Mix in 1/2 cup cold water. Pour about 1 tablespoon into each shot cup. Refrigerate for 1 hour, until set.
02 - In a separate bowl, dissolve unflavored gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Add the sweetened condensed milk, mixing until smooth and combined. Cool to room temperature.
03 - Remove the set red layer from the refrigerator. Carefully pour about 1 tablespoon of the white layer over the red layer in each cup. Refrigerate again for 1 hour, until set.
04 - In a clean bowl, combine blue raspberry gelatin with 1 cup boiling water. Stir until dissolved, then mix in 1/2 cup cold water.
05 - Once the white layer is set, pour 1 tablespoon of the blue layer on top of each cup. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until fully set.
06 - Just before serving, top with whipped cream and patriotic sprinkles if desired.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • These shots are festively colorful, adding a fun twist to any party.
  • They're safe for all ages, so everyone can join in the celebration without worries.
02 -
  • The white layer can go wrong if the gelatin isn't fully dissolved, so take your time.
  • For a creamier texture, always let the condensed milk mixture cool completely before layering.
03 -
  • For a brighter flavor, opt for real fruit juice instead of water in the fruit layers.
  • Experiment with different types of milk for the white layer, such as almond or coconut, if you’re looking for a twist.
