Golden pasta chips air-fried with olive oil, Parmesan, and seasonings for a crispy snack treat.

# Ingredient List:

→ Pasta

01 - 9 oz short pasta (penne, rigatoni, or farfalle)

→ Seasonings

02 - 2 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
04 - 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
05 - 1/2 tsp paprika
06 - 1/2 tsp salt
07 - 1/4 tsp black pepper

→ Cheese

08 - 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

# How to Make:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until just al dente according to package instructions. Drain thoroughly and pat dry to remove excess moisture.
02 - In a large bowl, toss the cooked pasta with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper until uniformly coated.
03 - Incorporate the grated Parmesan cheese into the pasta and toss to distribute evenly.
04 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F if required. Arrange the pasta in a single layer inside the basket, working in batches if necessary.
05 - Air fry the pasta chips for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until they turn golden and crisp.
06 - Allow the pasta chips to cool slightly before serving. Pair with dips such as marinara or pesto as desired.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The crunch is absolutely addictive, like the best part of a lasagna corner but in every single bite
  • They are ridiculously easy to customize with whatever seasonings you have in your pantry
  • Perfect for those nights when you want something salty and satisfying but not heavy
02 -
  • Drying the pasta after boiling is the step that changes everything, so do not rush it
  • Overcrowding the air fryer will leave you with soggy spots instead of that satisfying crunch
  • These really are best fresh, but they will keep for a couple days if you absolutely have to store them
03 -
  • Rigatoni and farfalle give you the most satisfying crunch because of all their ridges and folds
  • Letting the pasta cool completely after boiling helps it dry more thoroughly
  • Grate your own Parmesan fresh if you can because it melts and crisps better than the pre-grated stuff
